Chain-reaction accident on Silivri TEM Otoyolu: 5 people injured

A chain-reaction traffic accident that occurred around 17.00 in the evening on the Silivri TEM Otoyolu in the direction of Büyükcekmece caused panic and traffic density in the region for a short time. In the incident at Büyükçavuşlu location, where three vehicles sharing the same direction collided for an undetermined reason, the fact that there was no loss of life as well as material damage in the vehicles was considered a great fortune. Drivers and passengers who experienced shock on the road due to the impact of the accident ensured that a large number of teams were dispatched to the scene upon the help call of those around. Due to the severity of the collision and the risk of a possible fire, fire brigade, aid teams and gendarmerie teams were directed to the scene immediately. While security measures were taken at the scene, a part of the road was closed to traffic to allow intervention for the injured, and a controlled flow was provided.
