19-year-old İsmail Mete Gelöz, who was severely injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred on 24 Haziran in Kaleardı Mahallesi, Sivas, lost his life despite all medical interventions at the hospital where he was admitted.

The accident took place on a curvy section of Turgut Özal Caddesi. The motorcycle, driven by 20-year-old M.A., went out of control and crashed into a streetlight pole located on the median in the middle of the road. With the impact of the collision, both the driver and Gelöz, who was a passenger behind him, were thrown from the motorcycle.

The severely injured young man, who was rushed to the hospital after the accident, could not be saved despite all the doctors' interventions. Within the scope of the investigation launched regarding the incident, security camera footage and evidence at the scene are being examined.
