Staraj rewards deserving students from Mošćenička Draga

The Mayor of Mošćenička Draga, Riccardo Staraj, organized a reception for deserving students of the 2025/2026 school year. Luka Gržin and Ema Marković were awarded 70 euros each for eight years of excellent performance and exemplary behavior, while the student of the generation, Darin Maravić, received 100 euros from the mayor. The proud class teacher of the awarded students was Gabrijela Adulmar.

Two students from Draga participated under the mentorship of Suzana Galović in the regional mathematics competition for primary and secondary school students. Benjamin Rončević won second place, and Filip Jadreškić won third place. Both received a municipal award of 50 euros each. Mayor Staraj also congratulated Nea Frolja, Lorena Rubinić, and Marlena Rubinić on their success.

Under the mentorship of Natalija Banov, they won third place at the regional level in ČAraokama, the Children's Festival of Chakavian Songs. Additionally, in the international competition Make it Heard – European Podcast and Song Student Contest, held in Greece, they achieved an excellent fifth place in a joint performance. The municipality awarded each of them 50 euros.

These awards aim to encourage students' achievements in academic and cultural fields. The mayor emphasized the importance of young people's educational success for the community. The ceremony took place in a warm atmosphere with the participation of students' families and teachers.
