Suudi Arabistan Launched 'Package Visa' Offering Visa, Flight, and Accommodation in a Single Step

Suudi Arabistan announced a new 'Package Visa' application as a pilot program, which greatly facilitates the travel planning of international tourists. This innovative system allows eligible travelers to handle all their travel processes, from flight tickets to accommodation reservations, in a single transaction. The pilot application in question was implemented through the joint work of the Suudi Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, and the Insurance Institution. The program will initially be carried out through approved general travel and tourism service providers operating in selected pilot markets. In order for authorized agencies to be included in this system, it is required that they meet certain standards and have a digital reservation infrastructure. In addition, these firms must provide 24/7 active technical and customer service in order to offer uninterrupted support to travelers. Running the system with a robust infrastructure aims to ensure that both visitors and businesses are satisfied with the process.

Tourism Minister Ahmed El-Hateyb stated that the new system simplifies travel processes while also strengthening partnerships established with the tourism and travel sector.
