Victor Ponta accuses Bolojan of destroying Romania's economy

Former Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta, speaking on the Marius Tucă Show, accused current Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan of destroying the country's economy. Ponta claimed that the Bolojan government is at war with banks, has the highest inflation in Europe at 11%, and has strangled small and medium-sized enterprises. He warned that if Romania reaches junk status, foreign investors will stay away, and that the 2026 budget of 13 billion euros will require 1 billion euros monthly just for debt rollover, leaving no money for state functioning. Ponta also criticized the political deadlock, noting that for the first time in 36 years, the government will go on summer break without a stable prime minister, calling it 'the funeral of Romania.'
