Yumurtalık beaches gain corporate identity with new management system

Yumurtalık Municipality is resolutely continuing its efforts to increase transparency, supervision, security and service quality on the beaches, which are one of the district's most important assets. Last year, the municipality implemented a digital Beach Card application to record beach revenues, make income tracking auditable, and prevent losses and leakage, resulting in a significant increase in municipal income. This season, the municipality has strengthened the corporate transformation in beach management with new applications.

This year, the municipality introduced numbered Sunbed Cards and Parking Cards to make the supervision mechanism on the beaches even more effective. With the new system, transactions of citizens using sunbeds, umbrellas and parking services will be more easily tracked on site; inspections by municipal police teams will be carried out faster, more orderly and transparently. Yumurtalık Mayor Erdinç Altıok stated that the beaches are now operated in a manner befitting public seriousness, not haphazardly, and emphasized that there will be no compromise on protecting municipal revenues and increasing service quality.

Stating that they are working in harmony with Adana Metropolitan Municipality, Mayor Altıok said, "Yumurtalık's beaches are one of the greatest riches of this district. We have to manage this wealth in the best way for both our citizens and the future of our district. Since the day we took office, we have taken serious steps to create a transparent, auditable and corporate operating order on the beaches. Last year, we implemented the digital Beach Card application and recorded revenues. This year, we are further strengthening our supervision system with numbered sunbed and parking cards."

Emphasizing that beach revenues are public revenues, Mayor Altıok stated that even the slightest negligence will not be tolerated. "Every income obtained in areas belonging to the municipality is the right of the people of Yumurtalık. Therefore, we never compromise on any irregularity, negligence or arbitrary practice regarding public revenues. Our municipal police teams are constantly inspecting the field. With our internal audits, mystery shopper applications and new card systems, we keep all services on the beaches under stronger control. Our aim is not only to increase income, but also to create a fair, orderly, safe and quality service system," he said.

The municipality continues its work not only with a focus on income and supervision, but also with an approach centered on citizen satisfaction. Regular checks are carried out especially in 'Private Family Beach' areas so that families can benefit from the sea more comfortably, safely and peacefully. While municipal police teams are on duty continuously, inspections continue uninterruptedly to increase service quality in sunbed, umbrella, parking, toilet, shower and beach usage areas. Mayor Altıok stated that Yumurtalık has the potential to become one of Turkey's important tourism centers, not just Adana's, and emphasized that the district's natural, historical and geographical riches should be highlighted with a corporate vision. The municipality continues its work to operate the beaches more orderly, ensure families benefit from the sea safely, increase the interest of domestic and foreign tourists in the district, and evaluate beach revenues most efficiently for the public benefit.
