US Army reinstates AI restrictions after personnel quickly exhaust token quota

The US Army had to remove the generative AI token limit provided for its personnel because users exhausted their annual quotas much faster.

The Army had decided to offer unlimited token usage to its users in May 2026. However, personnel depleted the token pool much faster than anticipated, filling these limits by mid-June.
