CFR Cluj forced to pay €1.4 million debt to avoid UEFA sanctions

CFR Cluj, one of Romania's leading football clubs, is facing a serious financial crisis ahead of the new season.

According to Gazeta Sporturilor, the Gruia-based club must clear its debt of €1.4 million by 15 July to avoid severe sanctions from UEFA.
