Forest fires in Spain cannot be stopped: 13 thousand hectares reduced to ashes in Guadalajara

Spain is battling numerous large forest fires that are effective in the early summer season.

Since the beginning of 2026, more than 62 thousand hectares of forested area have been reduced to ashes across the country. This figure points to a 146 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
