Eurostat: Inflation in the Euro Area Reaches 2.9% in July

According to Eurostat's preliminary estimate, inflation in the euro area rose to 2.9% in July, higher than the 2.8% rate in June.

The main driver of inflation is the increase in energy prices. In Greece, inflation decreased to 2.7%.
