EU puts into effect the largest sanctions package against Russia in 4 years

The European Union (EU) has officially put into effect the most comprehensive sanctions package against Russia in the last four years.

The decisions announced by the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, aim to weaken the country's military and financial capacity.
