Finnish Member of Parliament Pia Kauma contracted Lyme disease from a tick bite

Member of the Finland Parliament Pia Kauma announced that she contracted borreliosis, or Lyme disease, as a result of a tick bite.

By sharing her experience, Kauma, who wants to warn the public against tick bites, drew attention to the symptoms of the disease.
