Colombia's Defense Minister Will Not Attend the 20 July Military Parade

Colombia's Defense Minister Pedro Arnulfo Sánchez will not attend the independence anniversary military parade to be held on 20 July.

The Minister's absence from the ceremony is due to a medical procedure that was planned months in advance and of which President Gustavo Petro was aware.
