Hundreds of Security Personnel Deployed for Demonstration to Be Held at the National Monument in Jakarta

The National Monument (Monas) area in Indonesia's capital, Jakarta, is preparing to host a protest demonstration on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Demonstrators, including university students from Banten province, are expected to march to the famous Horse Statue and occupy the area.
