Costa Rica Uses 30 Truckloads of Coffee Grounds for Ecological Restoration

In 2018, a total of 30 truckloads of coffee grounds were dumped in an area in Costa Rica as part of an ecological restoration project.

Two years later, research showed that the area's ecosystem had improved significantly. The project demonstrated how coffee grounds can be used as a tool for ecological restoration.
