Disaster and Emergency Council initiated a study for a nationwide airborne aid and evacuation system

The first meeting of the Disaster and Emergency Council in 2026 was held in Ankara under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Interior Dr.

Mehmet Cangir. In cooperation with the Ministry of National Defense and AFAD, it was decided to initiate a study to establish a nationwide airborne aid and evacuation system to be used in potential disasters.
