Boat sinks near Alcatraz Island: 1 dead, 3 missing

In San Francisco, one person died and three went missing after a three-deck boat capsized approximately 600 yards off Alcatraz Island.

It was reported that the 20 people on board, mostly family members, were holding a memorial service.
