US and Europe to develop affordable 'Patriot' missile with costs cut in half

A new step has been taken as the high-altitude defense missile stocks of the US and Europe gradually decrease.

American defense giant Lockheed Martin will collaborate with its European partners to develop and produce a much cheaper version of the existing 'Patriot' air defense missiles.
