Life sentence for 'El Mayo' Zambada, one of the founders of the Sinaloa Cartel

Mexican drug lord Ismael 'El Mayo' Zambada was sentenced to life in prison by a federal court in New York, USA.

Zambada, who pleaded guilty to leading the Sinaloa Cartel for decades and smuggling massive amounts of cocaine and fentanyl into the USA, was punished without the possibility of parole.
