Following the results of a comprehensive public opinion poll conducted in more than 140 countries around the world, a new ranking of countries where people feel the happiest and most peaceful has been published. This research is meticulously prepared every year to measure global welfare levels and the overall life satisfaction of societies. In addition to how satisfied people are with their own lives, the social and economic opportunities provided by countries are also among the determining factors in this ranking. The report in question has been compiled using extensive data provided by independent research organizations. The common characteristic of the countries that stand out in the ranking is that they have strong social policies that succeed in keeping the welfare of their citizens at the highest level.

The research in question has been prepared based on the data of the world-renowned 'Gallup World Poll'. The results of the analysis reveal that Northern European countries have once again established an overwhelming dominance in the happiness ranking. John Helliwell, one of the co-authors of the research, emphasizes that building a happy society is not just about solving existing problems. According to Helliwell, special importance must also be given to developing positive factors that directly improve people's quality of life. Experts stress that merely managing crises is not enough, and that taking proactive steps is essential for sustainable social peace.

Finland once again took the top spot in the newly announced happiness index. Experts attribute Finland's success to the fact that the welfare of citizens is seen as one of the most fundamental priorities of state policies. While Iceland took the second place on the list, Denmark ranked third. Costa Rica, the only country outside the Northern European region that managed to make it into the top five, achieved a surprise success by rising to the fourth place. The fifth place on the list belonged to Sweden, another Scandinavian country.

While preparing this comprehensive ranking, not only the answers people gave to the question of how satisfied they are with their own lives were taken into account. During the evaluation process, critical indicator data such as healthy life expectancy, strong social support mechanisms, and personal freedoms granted to individuals were also meticulously analyzed. In addition, people's willingness to help each other, the level of institutional corruption and transparency in countries, and the overall quality of life were considered as factors that directly affect the scoring. All these metrics clearly reveal that a country is not only economically strong, but also how strongly it is based on social foundations.

The top ten happiest countries in the world were determined as Finland, Iceland, Denmark, Costa Rica, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Israel, Luxembourg, and Switzerland, respectively. Right behind this leading group, countries such as New Zealand, Mexico, Ireland, Belgium, Australia, Kosovo, Germany, Slovenia, Austria, the Czech Republic, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the USA, Poland, and Canada took their respective places on the list. The fact that various states from different geographies and with different levels of economic development are included in the remaining parts of the ranking shows that happiness is not limited to continents or income levels. The report serves as an important guide for increasing social welfare globally and improving people's living standards.
