Comprehensive Renewal of Yeniköy Piknik Alanı by Karacabey Belediyesi

Karacabey Belediyesi has completed its comprehensive works at Yeniköy Piknik Alanı and opened the area for service, so that district residents and citizens can spend time in a more sterile environment with nature. Within the scope of these renewal activities, the physical conditions of the region have been improved, and all social facility areas to be offered to the citizens have been overhauled. The supervision of the works and process tracking were carried out personally on the field by Belediye Başkanı Fatih Karabatı, conducting inspections and leading the process.

One of the most striking parts of the renewal process is the assembly of the picnic tables produced by the municipality's own means to the region. These tables have been placed neatly on concrete floors specially prepared for users to sit more comfortably and cleanly. At the same time, in order to increase the aesthetic appearance of the picnic area, stone coverings were made within the scope of ground flooring works, ensuring an environmental arrangement compatible with nature.

Stream cleaning works were carried out in detail to regulate the water flow in the region and ensure environmental cleanliness. Barbecues were assembled to the ground for the barbecue pleasure, which is one of the areas most needed by picnic enthusiasts, to be done in a safe and controlled manner. In addition, the maintenance of the lighting system was carried out so that citizens can spend time safely in the evening hours, and possible darkness and visibility problems were eliminated.

The main purpose behind these investments is to increase the quality of social living areas in Karacabey district and to provide better public service to citizens. The municipality both provided cost savings by using its own resources and demonstrated local production power on the field. With these arrangements, Yeniköy Piknik Alanı has become a more suitable place for families and groups, serving as a modern meeting point for those who want to spend time intertwined with nature.

While an increase in the usage intensity of the region is expected in the coming periods, new plans regarding the sustainability of maintenance and repair works by the municipality may come to the agenda.
