Success of International Students Ranking First in Their Departments at KBÜ

Karabük University (KBÜ) has once again come to the forefront with the academic achievements of its international students. Two foreign national students studying at the university had the pride of graduating by completing their departments in first place. This achievement was considered as one of the important indicators showing that the institution offers quality education not only locally but also on a global scale. It was stated that the education received by the students contributed greatly to both their academic and personal development. Evaluating their graduation process, the students stated that the education they received in Türkiye expanded their professional vision.

Malak Abduljalil Mohsen Nagy Al-Sufyani, who graduated in first place from the Department of Architecture at Safranbolu Başak Cengiz Faculty of Architecture, stated that she felt great happiness for achieving this success. Al-Sufyani expressed her gratitude by thanking President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Karabük University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık in particular. Emphasizing that studying in Türkiye was her childhood dream, Al-Sufyani said she was very excited that her dream came true. Stating that her professors always supported them and believed in them during her time at the university, she emphasized that this process increased her self-confidence. Saying that she is grateful to all academics who contributed during her education, Al-Sufyani noted that the education she received significantly improved her professional vision.

The international student who graduated in first place from the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at the Faculty of Technology was Weestenley Jean Estiverne. Estiverne shared his feelings by expressing his satisfaction with his educational life at Karabük University, which he started in 2022. Stating that the educational quality of the university as well as its international position were a major factor in his choice, Estiverne said that the institution is also quite successful with its ranking among world universities. He expressed that he felt the pride of graduating in first place from the Department of Mechatronics Engineering this year. He specifically emphasized that the support of his professors and the environment of friendship had a great share in his development during this process.

Both students agreed that the quality educational infrastructure offered by Karabük University presents a great opportunity for international students. Al-Sufyani stated that the interest and belief shown by their professors prevented them from losing motivation during the challenging academic process. Estiverne, on the other hand, stated that the environment of friendship and the qualified structure of the academic staff strengthened his personal and technical equipment. Arguing that the university not only provides theoretical education but also adds professional practicality, the students think that this situation will give a great momentum to their future careers. Speaking about their post-graduation plans, the students stated that they want to utilize the knowledge they have gained in their own countries or on international platforms.

This graduation success is shown as a proof of how far Karabük University has progressed in terms of international student exchange programs and global education vision. The institution is becoming one of the preferred centers day by day with the social and academic opportunities it offers to foreign national students.
