16 pulleys hidden under the water seized in Melen Çayı

Teams from Sakarya's Kocaali District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate and Düzce Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry Fisheries Branch Directorate identified a significant violation during a joint inspection in Melen Çayı. Aimed at protecting inland fisheries resources and ensuring sustainable fishing, the operation sought to curb poaching activities. During searches at various points of the river, a total of 16 pulleys were found hidden beneath the water.
