The 26th edition of the "Note di Vino" (Wine Notes) festival, held annually in the Italian town of San Clemente and considered one of the region's most important summer events, is living its final moments. This final gathering, which will take place on Sunday, 12 July at Piazza Mazzini, is eagerly anticipated as the closing event of this year's edition. The event stands out as a special organization that brings together Italian wine culture and regional cuisines, promising a true feast. Following the silver jubilee event of 2025, the journey continues successfully this year, offering visitors not only flavors but also a cultural journey. Opening its doors at 20:45, this special night is expected to draw a large audience to the historic center of San Clemente.

The theme of this year's event, just like in previous stops, is built around highlighting the rich culinary and wine heritages of Italy's different regions. Having featured the Veneto region on 28 June and the Lazio region on 5 July, the event series will conclude on 12 July with Calabria, a coastal city in southern Italy. This night, where Calabria's unique, strong, and deeply rooted flavors will meet the guests, will be supported by one of the region's most renowned wine producers. San Clemente, located in the Valconca valley behind Rimini and virtually intertwined with wine culture, aims to warmly and hospitably share the warmth of Calabria with its guests through this event. Despite being a regional festival, the fact that it brings together wine and food enthusiasts from all over the country is considered the clearest indicator that the event has transcended regional boundaries.

The star of the closing night on 12 July will be "Tenuta Iuzzolini", a historic and prestigious wine producer based in the Cirò Marina (Crotone) region of Calabria. During dinner, guests will be offered a special menu featuring Calabria's traditional and unique flavors. The menu will consist of fried zucchini with 'nduja sauce mayonnaise (antipasto), Calabrian-style fileja pasta with smoked ricotta and meatballs (primo), eggplants stuffed with meat and caciocavallo cheese (secondo), and finally a dessert prepared with a fig and wine sauce. This rich and regional menu will be masterfully paired with the award-winning and exquisite wines of Tenuta Iuzzolini. Guests will delight their palates by enjoying the tasting of premium local wines such as Fermentino Bianco Frizzante, Cirò DOC Bianco, and Rosso.

San Clemente is a historic town that frequently makes a name for itself in Italy when it comes to wine, and is an active member of the National Association of Wine Cities. This small hilltop town, the birthplace of the poet and cobbler Giustiniano Villa, is surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, possessing a postcard-like beauty. Launched for the first time in 2001, the "Note di Vino" event has maintained its status as the town's brightest and most vibrant cultural step during the summer months since its inception. Now in its 26th edition this year, the organization has once again collaborated with Food & Wine industry veteran Maurizio Saggion to convey the history of wine and regional culture to visitors through an emotional narrative. Furthermore, the continued support from the Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta Hotelier and Gastronomy Institute in Rimini has further elevated the night's level of professionalism and quality.

The event not only offers a great food and wine experience but also prepares to enchant its guests with a comprehensive multimedia and musical feast. The music group "Radio Crotone Wave", which will bring the colors, rhythms, and cultural richness of Calabria to the stage through music, will entertain their fellow citizens and all guests throughout the night. With entrance fees of 23 Euro for adults and 6 Euro for children aged 5-10, a suitable atmosphere has been created for spending a fun family evening. While the organization of the event is undertaken by the Municipality of San Clemente, the artistic direction is flawlessly executed in collaboration with Dino Gnassi Corporation & C. Sas and Pro Loco di San Clemente. Despite being a local event, this final night, which represents one of the pinnacles of Italian gastronomic culture, will crown the "Note di Vino 2026" edition with an unforgettable finale.
