Efforts to Repair Industrial City Road in Jordan Yield Positive Results

The works carried out for the repair of the road connecting the El-Hasan Industrial City and the Ramtha bridge, which was brought to the agenda by the "Buradan Başlıyoruz" (Min Huna Nabda'u) program published in Jordan and posed a major security risk, have turned into a concrete step after the complaints of the citizens.

Citizen Sam Miyas, who was the first to complain about the issue, confirmed that the official authorities have started the renovation of the road, which had been neglected for a long time and posed a great danger to drivers, stating that he hoped the grievance experienced by the users in the region would come to an end.

The deterioration on this vital transportation axis heading towards the El-Hasan Industrial City and in the direction of the Ramtha bridge had been described by citizens as a "terrible state" due to the numerous fatal traffic accidents that occurred in the past, and it was stated that it seriously threatened the safety of the drivers and the workers going to the industrial zone on a daily basis.

Ramtha District Affairs Director Engineer Ali El-Halidi, in his statement regarding the issue, stated that this road connecting the Irbid and El-Mafrak provinces, especially the part around the El-Hasan City and Ramtha bridge, was among the projects to which the Ministry gave the highest priority, and that works were initiated in this direction.

El-Halidi, noting that the asphalt renewal work has started on the section extending from the Ramtha bridge towards the Huvare region within the scope of the ongoing work, emphasized that the Ministry completed the asphalt of a seven-kilometer section last year in 2025, and the works for the completion of the remaining sections are continuing uninterruptedly.

Irbid Governorate Affairs Director Engineer Ma'en El-Rabadi, in his additional statement, shared with the public that the remaining damaged sections of the road will undergo comprehensive maintenance and asphalt work within the year 2026, so that all necessary measures will be taken to ensure general traffic safety.
