Family Trapped Amidst Waves in Van Lake Rescued in Heart-Stopping Operation

In an incident that occurred last night off the coast of Kıyıdüzü village in Tatvan district, Bitlis, a boat carrying a total of 7 people, including three children, became stranded in the choppy waters of Van Lake. Bitlis Provincial Police Department Harbor Branch Bureau teams rapidly reached the area and initiated a critical rescue operation. The anxious wait on the shore ended with the successful intervention of the marine police, and everyone inside the boat was rescued safely.

The 7 people, who were stuck on the boat and in a state of great panic, were carefully taken onto the police boat and transported safely to the Tatvan Police Camp campus. The rescued persons were reunited with their families and officials, calming down after the trauma they experienced.
