Russian State Duma plans to introduce passport ban for Russians going abroad for political reasons

The new bill introduced to the agenda of the Russian State Duma targets Russian citizens who go abroad for political reasons.

The bill, which is planned for its second reading on 22 July, covers those fleeing political accusations such as "foreign agent", "undesirable" organizations, and discrediting the army.
