There is no need to add extra sweeteners to the cream because the natural sugar of the watermelon and the sweet milk already provide sufficient sweetness for the ice cream. The ingredient list is completed with half a glass of watermelon juice, watermelon puree, optional red food coloring, and 60 grams of chocolate chips to enrich the presentation of the ice cream.

The preparation phase of the ice cream begins by pureeing the watermelon; at this stage, the watermelons are passed through a blender and then the juice of the puree is strained and separated. The 250 ml of watermelon juice obtained from the straining process and the remaining thick puree are set aside as the main flavor elements of the ice cream. Then, cold heavy cream taken into a deep bowl is whipped at high speed and turned into a whipped cream with a soft consistency. Sweet milk and optionally red food coloring are added to the whipped cream, and it is whipped briefly at a low speed.
