Minister Yumaklı's Emphasis on Supply Security and Rural Development in Uşak

As part of his official contacts, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı carried out a series of visits and inspections in the Uşak province. During the program, which was attended by ministry officials and local administrators, steps to increase agricultural production and support rural development were discussed. As part of the technical inspection leg of the Uşak program, the Banaz Jeotermal Sera Organize Tarım Bölgesi Alanı was visited. In these facilities, where geothermal energy is used for heating, uninterrupted and high-quality agricultural production independent of seasonal conditions is targeted. Tankers with high water-carrying capacity provide a rapid response opportunity against forest fires, especially during dry periods, in addition to agricultural irrigation. The newly distributed tractors will increase the mechanization level of field agriculture and forestry activities in the region, thereby lightening the workload of the producers.
