The rate of increase for retired pensions has been finalized: Here is the 23.552 TL table and details

The official announcement of inflation data for the first six months of 2026 by Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu (TÜİK) has determined the shape of pension increases for millions of retirees. The increase rate to be applied to the pensions of retirees under Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu (SGK) and Bağ-Kur has been finalized based on the %17,76 inflation difference. The new salary table prepared in line with this rate revealed in detail how much current salaries will increase and the net amounts retirees will receive.

According to the details of the news, the current situation where the lowest pension is 20.000 TL is changing with a new law proposal submitted to TBMM. If the said proposal becomes law, the lowest pension will be raised to 23 bin 552 TL as of July. This development will bring expected economic relief and improvement in living standards, especially for retirees with low income.

In salary calculations, amounts resulting from adding the determined inflation difference to current wages have become clear. According to the detailed table prepared by Sosyal Güvenlik Uzmanı Özgür Erdursun, the raise amounts for salaries were determined by applying the %17,76 rate to every salary category. According to the results obtained, a pensioner receiving 20.000 TL will see their payment increase by 3.552 TL to 23.552 TL, and a pensioner receiving 21.000 TL will see theirs increase by 3.729,60 TL to 24.729,60 TL.

The reflection of the same increase rate on higher salary groups will be as follows: retirees receiving 22.000 TL will get 25.907 TL with approximately 3.907 TL raise; those receiving 23.000 TL will get 27.084 TL with a 4.084 TL increase; and those receiving 24.000 TL will get 28.262 TL salary with a 4.262 TL difference. Retirees receiving 25.000 TL, which can be considered a mid-level salary, will see their salaries at 29.440 TL level following a 4.440 TL raise.

When looking at the upper tiers of the table, the increase amounts naturally follow a higher course. A pensioner receiving 30.000 TL will raise to 35.328 TL with a 5.328 TL increase; a pensioner receiving 35.000 TL to 41.216 TL with a 6.216 TL difference; and a pensioner receiving 40.000 TL will carry their salary to 47.104 TL with a 7.104 TL increase. Retirees in the highest group receiving 50.000 TL will receive their total payments as 58.880 TL following a steady raise of 8.880 TL.
