3 suspects detained after stubble fire in Gaziantep İslahiye

Developments regarding the stubble fire that occurred in the Gaziantep İslahiye district and caused concern in the region have gained momentum. After the fire started for an as-yet undetermined cause, security forces launched a multifaceted investigation to determine the source and cause of the fire. As a result of the diligent work of the İslahiye Central Jandarma Command teams on the ground and the technical examinations carried out, suspects who were evaluated to be linked to the fire were identified.

Within the scope of the investigation conducted, 3 identified suspects were caught and detained to initiate legal proceedings. In an official statement regarding the issue, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office confirmed that 3 people had been detained in connection with the fire, noting that the investigation into the incident was continuing to be deepened and that efforts were ongoing to clarify further details.

In statements made by officials, it was emphasized that stubble fires pose serious threats not only to agricultural lands but also to the environment and forested areas.
