Congress Marathon Begins in 18 Districts of MHP Trabzon Organization

The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Trabzon Provincial Organization has completed its preparations for district congresses to be held in 18 districts across the city. According to the announcement, the process, characterized as an intense election marathon, will begin on Monday, July 20 and end on Sunday, July 26. All congresses are organized to determine district chairs and map out the organization's roadmap for the upcoming term, being regarded as a significant step for intra-party democracy.

The technical proceedings of the congress process have been shaped in accordance with traditional party ceremonies and official procedures. In each district congress, a board will first be established, and the meeting will be conducted under the management of the Presidential Board. Subsequently, the organization's past activities, activity reports, and financial reports will be presented to members in detail. Following the voting and approval of these reports by the members, political speeches will be made from the podium, and the election process will begin to select district chairs.

According to the announced calendar, the congress marathon will begin on Monday, July 20 in the districts of Beşikdüzü, Tonya, Düzköy and Şalpazarı. The congresses, which will see an enthusiastic start on the first day, are planned to start at 11.00. In these four districts, party members and delegates will go to the polls to cast their first votes to determine their administrations and chairs. These congresses, held on the same day, will mark the start of the process across Trabzon.

The process will continue uninterruptedly in the following days, covering different district groups. On Tuesday, July 21, the Araklı, Köprübaşı, Arsin and Sürmene organizations will hold their congresses. On Wednesday, July 22, the districts of Hayrat, Dernekpazarı, Of and Çaykara will hold their congresses in turn. After the meetings to be held in Vakfıkebir, Çarşıbaşı, Maçka and Yomra districts on Thursday, congresses will be held in larger districts come the weekend.

The weekend marking the end of an intense program will host congresses particularly in Akçaabat and Ortahisar districts. The process, expected to end with the congress in Akçaabat on Saturday, July 25, is planned to be completed with the Ortahisar District Congress with high participation. The Ortahisar congress will be one of the most striking closing ceremonies of the process due to its central location and participant density. The congresses to be held in designated halls and venues in all districts will be completed with the intense participation of party members, and new administrations will assume their duties.
