The Federal High Court located in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, has issued an arrest warrant for Adeniyi Adeyemi, who acted as the fictitious general manager of the so-called Presidential Foreign Interference Promotion Council (PFIPC). Adeyemi failed to appear in court for his scheduled questioning regarding charges of forgery, fraud, and impersonation.

Justice Mohammed Umar, ruling in line with the prosecution's request, signed an order for Adeyemi to be apprehended and brought to justice. Adeyemi and two other defendants are accused of committing various crimes within the scope of the said illegal council's activities. The case, which includes a total of eight different charges, was filed on 27 November 2025.
