Poland deports 9 Ukrainians and 2 Belarusians suspected of organizing Russia-funded protests

Polish authorities have detained and deported nine Ukrainian citizens and two Belarusian citizens on suspicion of organizing protest actions funded by Russia. According to Poland's Internal Security Agency (ABW), the detainees had links to Russia and Belarus. Since autumn 2025, they allegedly recruited Ukrainian refugees living in Poland to participate in political actions against Ukrainian authorities, using resonant topics such as corruption scandals. Protesters were reportedly paid for their participation, with funds coming from Russia. Poland believes the organizers aimed to increase social tension and undermine trust in the government. Russia has not commented on the allegations.
