Public transport network rearranged for Sakarya Kültür Yolu Festivali

Sakarya Büyükşehir Belediyesi has prepared comprehensive planning to strengthen the transportation infrastructure prior to the Türkiye Kültür Yolu Festivali, which will be held in the city between 4 and 12 Temmuz. It was announced that significant revisions were made to public transport lines so that citizens can reach event areas and concert venues without problems during the festival. Within this scope, a special transport scenario has been put into effect by increasing bus and metrobüs services, especially to alleviate the density that may be experienced at night and to ensure participants can return home safely.

In order to provide ease of access, night services on metrobüs lines serving all regions where the festival is held have been significantly increased, aiming to prevent citizens from being disadvantaged in terms of transportation until the end of the event. Municipal buses will also continue to serve late at night, and it is planned to prevent the density that may occur after citizens leave the festival area. These measures are of great importance in encouraging citizens to participate in cultural events, as well as minimizing possible disruptions in city traffic and ensuring flow.

Special importance was given to the return planning for the night hours when the festival events are completed; in this direction, extra services departing from in front of Millet Bahçesi were put into operation. Special bus services, planned to depart every day after midnight, namely at 00.00, will be organized to Serdivan and Erenler directions so that participants can reach their homes without experiencing density. These lines aim to increase ease of use in public transport by ensuring the safe and rapid dispersal of the crowd leaving the festival area.

In the official statement regarding the subject, Ulaşım Dairesi Başkanlığı emphasized that all necessary measures have been taken for citizens to benefit from public transport services at the highest level during the festival. In the statement, it was shared that the number of night services on metrobüs lines was increased and extra services were put from in front of Millet Bahçesi to certain directions to prevent the probable density at the exits of the events. Authorities conveyed their wishes for all fellow citizens to have a pleasant, peaceful festival process without transportation problems, stating that the necessary coordination was provided for the planned services to be implemented on time.
