The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the General Directorate of Food and Control have launched a new awareness campaign to emphasize the great importance of the conscious and correct use of plant protection products utilized in agricultural production. In the statement made by the authorities, the message that the foundation of healthy and reliable food is laid precisely with healthy plants was conveyed to all segments of society. In this context, it was meticulously emphasized that farmers must be extremely careful during the pesticide application processes and that it is important to raise their awareness on the subject. It was stated that conscious pesticide use not only increases agricultural productivity but also constitutes an indispensable element for the protection of public health. The aforementioned awareness study sets the main goal as making the agricultural sector more sustainable and safe.
