Industry data indicates that a virtual revolution has taken place in the luxury housing market, with the undisputed leader of this sector being the city of Taichung. Located in the heart of the country, this major metropolis stands out as one of the most popular real estate centers of the recent period. Taichung captured the top three spots among the regions included in the study, establishing an overwhelming dominance over its rivals. In the evaluation conducted within the city of Taichung, the Şitun (Xitun) District unsurprisingly took the top spot. Having completed exactly 393 luxury housing sales in the last two-year period, Şitun single-handedly settled at the peak of the market, establishing an incredible dominance with this figure. Nantun (Nantun) District, which ranked second, captured a significant sales volume of 205 units in the same period, adding strength to the city's power. Following this, Beitun (Beitun) District solidified its position in the race for the top, reinforcing Taichung's influence in the upper ranks. Among the common characteristics of these districts are having excellent transportation networks, incorporating vast green spaces, and offering high-standard social amenities.

The biggest factor behind the Şitun District achieving such a high number of sales is that the region is the center of an intensive development drive. In particular, new urban renewal projects, ultra-modern skyscrapers, and large shopping malls make this region extremely attractive for both local and foreign investors.
