US President Donald Trump will deliver an address to the nation on Thursday at 21.00, and is expected to bring up the topics of elections and voting machines. The speech is said to potentially serve as a platform for him to revisit long-debunked conspiracy theories regarding his defeat against Joe Biden in the 2020 elections. During the same period, the administration plans to tighten immigration rules, preventing those who use public assistance from receiving green cards.

On the other hand, the US military has launched airstrikes continuing for the sixth consecutive day with the aim of further weakening Iran's military capacity. It has been reported that the intensity of the attacks has increased in recent days and they have begun reaching targets far from the coastline, including areas around the Iranian capital, Tehran. Iranian officials announced that more than 35 people have lost their lives and over 300 people have been injured in the US attacks so far.

In domestic politics, the Trump administration has finalized a new rule limiting the stay of international students in the US to a maximum of four years without federal government approval. This rule, which will come into effect in September, will also introduce various restrictions regarding how students can change their departments or academic programs.
