Support from Yeniden Refah Party for the Ahbap investigation and reaction to Özgür Özel's party

Suat Kılıç, Deputy Chairman of the Yeniden Refah Party, made evaluations regarding the important agenda items following the MYK meeting. Stating that they fully support the financial operation launched against the Ahbap Association, which came to the agenda with the donations collected during the earthquake period, Kılıç emphasized that the state must protect its citizens against those who exploit the sense of charity.

Noting that they also support the Istanbul-based match-fixing investigation, Kılıç demanded that rare diseases such as SMA be included in the SGK payment list and that interim raises be made for retirees. He also stated that his party has risen to a position that fills the main opposition void in Turkish politics.

Speaking about CHP Group Chairman Özgür Özel's efforts to establish a new party, Kılıç stated that a compromise with the Kılıçdaroğlu administration is impossible, wishing that this separation would contribute to democracy. Furthermore, Kılıç reiterated that critical legal and constitutional changes should be submitted to the public's approval via a referendum and reported that they also support the 'Terror-free Turkey' process in the Parliament.
