Forest fire in France: 12 thousand 500 hectares reduced to ashes in Gironde, 44 thousand people evacuated

In the major forest fire continuing in France's Gironde region, 12 thousand 500 hectares of wooded area have been destroyed so far.

Authorities announced that approximately 44 thousand people located in dangerous areas were evacuated for their safety within two days.
