306 Cyber Crime Suspects Caught in Operation in 14 Provinces

A very comprehensive operation was carried out across Turkey within the scope of the fight against cyber crimes under the coordination of the Ministry of Interior. Launched simultaneously in 14 different provinces by law enforcement units, the operations went down in history as one of the biggest steps recently taken against crimes committed in the digital environment. The tools and software used by the suspects to hide their identities in the cyber world are being examined in forensic computer laboratories to determine the elements of the crime. It was stated that the scope of the operation may expand in parallel with the deepening of the investigation and that efforts continue to apprehend other wanted suspects.
