Protest Against Israel's Gaza Attacks in Ankara

Ankara Filistin Dayanışma Platformu (ANFİDAP) members protested against Israel's attacks on Gaza. The protest featured a puppet show by puppeteer Mehmet Tahir İkiler, who portrayed Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. Halis Çıtır, speaking on behalf of the platform, stated that Israel continues to target civilians in Gaza despite ceasefire negotiations and mediation efforts.

Çıtır also pointed out that Israel's attacks are aimed at Turkey's presence in Syria and its security, and that mediator countries should not only call for a ceasefire but also take concrete steps to stop the use of any weapons and military support that could be used in actions that violate international law. The protest highlighted the inhumane practices in Gaza and Israel's blatant violation of almost all the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
