39 fugitives apprehended in Ardahan, wanted for numerous crimes

Extensive operations were conducted throughout the province of Ardahan in June to ensure peace and security. Under the coordination of the Governorship and carried out by provincial police department teams, 39 individuals wanted for various crimes with outstanding arrest warrants were apprehended and detained. The individuals in question were wanted for theft, fraud, serious crimes, and other reciprocal offenses, and it was stated that the operations aimed to reduce crime rates in the region.

As a result of detailed planning and intelligence work by security forces, the addresses and hideouts of the suspects were identified and raids were conducted. It was announced that the 39 apprehended individuals consisted of convicts and fugitives wanted for detention, and the process of handing them over to judicial authorities had begun. It was emphasized that operations would continue to contribute to Ardahan’s security and public order, and that meticulous work to catch wanted suspects would persist.

The operations were not limited to the city center but were also effectively conducted in districts and rural areas. Police teams displayed a determined stance in apprehending wanted persons, and it was stated that all necessary measures were taken for public safety. The majority of those apprehended underwent the judicial process where they were sent to prison after being remanded in custody by courts, with the possibility of conditional release.

In an official statement regarding the issue, the importance of citizens supporting police teams to protect life and property security was reiterated once again. The Ardahan Governorship and Police Department stated that criminals and fugitives would be brought to justice without exception by law enforcement and that this is a continuous process. It was conveyed that such operations would increase in the future and that there would be no place for criminals to hide.

On the other hand, it was noted that the tips from citizens played a major role in the success of the operations and the continuation of this cooperation was of importance. It was reported that the number of suspects detained within the scope of internal security procedures revealed the success of the police organization in Ardahan and clearly demonstrated the determination not to tolerate criminals.
