Coppersmith Meulmeester Completed the Entrance Adorned with a Nod to Maritime History

Willem Meulmeester, a coppersmith from the Jobse Loodgieters firm, has spent the last few weeks working on the grand, copper-clad entrance of the De Meubelmakerij building in the Scheldekwartier area. The project serves as an elegant tribute to the region's rich maritime past.

The craftsman is quite accustomed to working in such locations, as he also overcomes much higher and more difficult challenges. On a normal day, he can even find himself working at the top of the 112-meter-high Domtoren tower in Utrecht.
