Mayor Özçelik served ashure to citizens in Alanya on the occasion of Muharrem Month

Alanya Municipality continues to keep the traditional culture alive with events organized in accordance with the spiritual atmosphere of Muharrem Month. Within this scope, under the coordination of the Social Aid Affairs Department, a special stand was set up at the Cuma Pazarı, considered the heart of the city, and ashure was distributed to citizens. One of the most striking moments of the event was Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik taking his place at the head of the cauldron to personally serve the citizens. In this warm and intimate atmosphere, meeting thousands of citizens, Mayor Özçelik relieved longing with his fellow citizens and gave messages of solidarity while serving ashure with the ladle in his hand.

Following the enthusiastic distribution at the Cuma Pazarı, distributions continued within the scope of municipal activities. Ashure was distributed with the same meticulousness to the personnel working at the Alanya Municipality service building and other citizens who visited the municipality officially or unofficially. Thanks to this detailed organization, neither the municipal employees nor the city's guests missed out on the abundant climate of Muharrem Month. It was announced that as a result of the studies continuing throughout the day, ashure was served to a total of 5 thousand people at different points in Alanya.
