A price increase of 1 lira and 55 kuruş per liter of gasoline is expected tonight

According to information received from sector sources, a price increase of 1 lira 55 kuruş per liter of gasoline is expected to be implemented starting from midnight tonight. Fluctuations in global energy markets and the rise in Brent oil prices are directly reflecting on fuel prices.

Contrary to the expected price increase in the gasoline group, no changes are foreseen in diesel and LPG (autogas) prices. This price increase will reflect at the pumps at fuel stations nationwide, especially in major metropolises like İstanbul, Ankara, and İzmir.

Thanks to the Eşel Mobil Sistemi implemented by the government, only 25 percent of the price increase will be directly reflected in prices. This system, which is used to limit the impact of price increases on inflation, is planned to be completely abolished as of 1 Ekim 2026.
