90-year-old Anakadın Çapkın found dead in her home in Burdur, husband is suspected

In an incident occurring in Emek Mahallesi, Burdur, which caused deep sorrow among the locals, 90-year-old Anakadın Çapkın passed away in her own home. The event took place around 17.00 in the evening at her residence on Turgut Reis Sokak, and a detailed investigation was launched by the police on suspicion of murder. The person who noticed the situation and called the emergency teams was the woman's husband, M.Y., and despite the initial interventions, it was not possible to revive the elderly woman. According to initial information and police reports, her husband M.Y., who returned home, found 90-year-old Anakadın Çapkın motionless on the ground and immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene very quickly; however, health officials determined during their checks that Çapkın had unfortunately passed away. Although the health team performed every kind of intervention on the elderly woman, no success was achieved in restoring her heart rhythm, and she was declared dead at the scene.
