Corruption Operation on Çankaya Belediyesi: Detention Warrant for 36 People Including Mayor Güner

Teams from the Ankara İl Emniyet Müdürlüğü Mali Suçlarla Mücadele Şube Müdürlüğü have launched a large-scale corruption and bribery investigation coordinated by the Ankara Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı. As part of the investigation, a detention warrant was issued for a total of 36 suspects, including Çankaya Belediye Başkanı Hüseyin Can Güner. Authorities are focusing on the suspicion that the suspects committed the crimes of 'establishing a criminal organization', 'membership in a criminal organization', 'accepting and giving bribes', and 'rigging public tenders'.
