A 51-year-old man residing in Çerkası, Ukrayna, is being brought to court on the grounds that he made posts praising the actions of the Rusya army and revealing the locations of Ukrayna's air defense systems. In a written statement from the Çerkası Regional Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that the suspect is subject to legal proceedings under the relevant articles of the Ukrayna Criminal Code. Evidence gathered as part of the investigation file reveals that the individual accessed sensitive military information via social media and messaging applications and disseminated this information in an unauthorized manner. Authorities emphasize that such actions directly threaten the country's national security and are subject to severe sanctions. The case in question is of great importance in terms of preventing wartime information leaks and protecting state security.

According to the investigation, the suspect shared various video recordings via the popular instant messaging application Telegram. These videos contained critical footage that could allow for determining the exact locations of Ukrayna Armed Forces units and air defense (HRS) systems stationed in the region. It is noted that if these materials fall into the hands of enemy forces, they could pave the way for a potential missile or airstrike. In a statement made by the prosecutor's office, it was expressed that the aforementioned criminal activities were carried out within the borders of the Çerkası region and seriously jeopardized the security of the local military infrastructure. Interestingly, in addition to violating the secrecy of military battalions, it was also determined that the individual openly praised the actions of Russian military personnel through various voice messages.

As part of the legal process, the suspect's actions were evaluated and graded under different articles of the Ukrayna Criminal Code. In this context, the second paragraph of Article 114-2, which prohibits the disclosure of the locations of armed units, and the first and third paragraphs of Article 436-2, which regulates the praising of actions against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state, are being applied. In comprehensive operations conducted by security forces, a detailed search was carried out at the individual's residence. During these searches, a smartphone and a laptop containing digital materials supporting the charges were seized. The digital evidence obtained was added to the file as conclusive evidence confirming the charges against the suspect in court following forensic informatics analyses.

The operation in question was carried out as a result of a meticulous pre-trial investigation and operational tracking process planned and conducted by the officials of the Ukrayna Security Service's (SBU) Çerkası regional administration. Authorities reported that law enforcement's operational support continues following the initiation of the legal process by judicial authorities. The suspect was arrested and is being safely held in prison due to the risk of tampering with evidence or fleeing during the pre-trial investigation. After the completion of the investigation file by the prosecutor's office, the prepared indictment was accepted by the court, thus moving to the trial phase. This process is expected to set a precedent regarding the consequences of similar security breaches in the country.

Pursuant to Article 62 of the Ukrayna Constitution, every individual has the right to the presumption of innocence. According to this fundamental legal principle, a person is considered innocent until their guilt is legally proven and a final conviction is reached. Therefore, whether the individual indicted will be found guilty will be evaluated in court sessions to be held in the coming days. Following the presentation of evidence by both parties during the trial, independent judges will finalize the case. Such cases are closely followed by the international community not only for the protection of national security but also for observing the functionality of the principles of the rule of law and fair trial in Ukrayna's ongoing conflict environment.
