"Daire Fabrikası" Customers Claim Their Labor and Money Have Been Seized

"Daire Fabrikası" (Фабрика квартир), a Ukraine-based interior design and renovation company, has become the target of complaints from dozens of its customers. Customers claim that even though they fully fulfilled their obligations in their contracts, their apartments were left unfinished and they could not get their money back. The victims have started sharing their grievances with the public through social media platforms, especially on Threads. Various groups have been formed to strengthen communication among the victims, act collectively, and seek their rights. Individual and collective lawsuits are currently in the process of being filed regarding the company's activities and those responsible.

One of the leading figures in bringing the fraud allegations to light is Anton Tabaçenko, a father of three living in the city of İvano-Frankivsk. The Tabaçenko family stated that they signed a contract for a "turnkey" renovation service about a year ago, but the work has not been completed since the January 2026 date specified in the contract. The family stated that they paid tens of thousands of dollars for the renovation and that this amount covered almost all of their family savings. According to the complaints, the work in the apartment was only 30 percent completed, and the apartment could not be made habitable. The family stated that they tried to contact company officials to resolve the situation, but their calls were rejected and they were blocked from digital chat groups.

Following this striking post by Anton Tabaçenko on social media, many different customers claiming to have experienced similar grievances have emerged. Anton Tabaçenko's wife, Yuliya Zauliçna, also made a public call on the matter, emphasizing that their family has not been able to move into their own home for over a year. Zauliçna stated that according to the contract, the renovation was planned to be finished much earlier, by February 2025, but to date, only rough construction stages have been completed in the apartment. The shattering of a family of three's dream of living in their own home in this manner has further deepened the emotional repercussions of the incident in society. The magnitude of the situation is becoming clearer with each passing day through networks established on social media and new confessions of victimization.

According to the customers' claims, there is a serious transparency and trust problem in the firm's operations. The fact that the contracts were signed not with the company itself but through sole proprietorships (FOP) stands out as a detail that makes it difficult to follow legal processes and identify those responsible. In addition, the victims claim that the large sums of money taken from them were never used to purchase renovation materials or pay subcontractors. News that the workers and subcontractors were also deprived of payments and were just strung along with empty words, just like the customers, reveals a different dimension of the incident. So far, where the large amounts of financial resources were spent or how they were destroyed is considered a complete mystery.

Among the individuals named in the news and accused by the victims are Volodimir Kuçirka and Mihail Cohola. Tabaçenko has urged anyone with information about these individuals and the company or who has suffered a similar grievance to urgently break their silence and contact him. The victims hope to increase their numbers, aware of how critical it is to gather evidence and build a collective force in such cases. The protection of consumer rights in Ukraine and such corruption or breaches of trust in the interior design/construction sector cause profound and irreparable economic damage in people's lives. For now, while continuing their legal struggle, the current victims are striving to find other victims of the incident and keep the public's attention alive.
